Contracts and Facilities Management Support

Part Time, 6 month contract

We are looking for an experienced Contracts/Facilities specialist with effective communication and negotiation skills to join a small Operations Support team at our National Office in Birmingham, (St John’s House)

The role includes;

  • Oversight of managing the buildings and grounds maintenance, including the appointment of contractors.
  • Managing maintenance activities within agreed budgets and providing regular insights of relevant management accounts.
  • Oversight of the long-term contracts with organisations and individuals using the buildings space at St Johns House.
  • Managing utility supply, refuse collection, Council Tax, non-IT-related systems maintenance and servicing.

You should have experience of drawing up, letting and managing contracts for building and grounds maintenance and refurbishment, as well as site supervision of contractors. It is also essential to have experience of developing and working to budgets.

You will need to have a passion for Interserve’s vision and mission as well as effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

This is a part time role for 22.2 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly Monday-Friday. The full time equivalent salary is £37,541 FTE and £22,524.60 for 22.2 hours per week.

The role is based at our National Office in Birmingham.
