Yes, we would love to get the kids involved any way you choose. They can help with the baking, decorating and serving. We even have colouring sheets available on our website that can keep the little ones occupied.
Where can I host it?
Anywhere you like! You may prefer an intimate event with just a few friends at your home, or you may prefer a church hall or community centre. It’s up to you and the size of the event you are planning.
Does it have to be a ‘British’ tea party?
We don’t like to say no, but on this occasion we are going to. Tea crosses across many cultures and we would love to see your unique expression of culture and interest expressed in your event. You could choose to do a very traditional British afternoon tea, or anything you want. One group we know of is attempting to host the whole afternoon using only fair trade ingredients. We think that’s a great idea as well.
Can I host this with coffee?
OF COURSE! Coffee for transformation doesn’t quite have the same alliteration otherwise I would have used it in the publicity. Serve any beverages you like, just gather and enjoy yourselves!
When will I get my fundraising pack and other resources?
We aim to send out the fundraising packs in August. In meantime please have a think about who you would like to invites and where you will be hosting.
Is there a time frame?
We are suggesting people plan their events between September and October 2025 but if you want to host outside of that timeframe, then please feel free.
I want to host a tea, but I don’t want a pack…
Fair enough, there is plenty of information and other resources available from our website to get you started. We encourage you to register and select no for the fundraising pack. That way you can still receive resources like our video and updates. We like our little cake flags, though, so make sure you don’t miss out on those if you want them.

Will the money go directly to Interserve
Yes, all the proceeds received will go directly to Interserve to see lives and communities transformed by the love of Jesus.
