Urban Vision Partners are people who work in multi-cultural settings in Britain. Like overseas Interserve Partners, they …
i) have a recognised leading from God to be engaged in cross-cultural mission
ii) have been selected and prepared for service by an Interserve entity
iii) are commissioned by a faith community which is committed to pray and support
iv) have a full sense of family commitment to the worldwide family of Interserve, its vision, values and operating principles.
Some, but not all Urban Vision Partners, have already served with Interserve overseas before joining Urban Vision. Others have joined Urban Vision directly.
Urban Vision Partners express their sense of belonging and desire for accountability to Interserve by signing a statement of ‘Common Commitment’. This document outlines the essential values and operating principles of the Interserve Fellowship worldwide.
Urban Vision Partners may receive an income and line-management from Interserve or another employer. However, they choose to be accountable to Interserve. They are supported in their work, spiritually, morally and pastorally, from within the Interserve community through Urban Vision.
