Raising support

Having the right support structures in place is a really important part of cross-cultural service. Living and working overseas costs money, of course, but even more important is regular and committed prayer support. By ensuring that financial and prayer support are both in place Interserve Partners are able to focus on their work without distractions.

The level of financial support you will need to raise depends on several factors such as whether you are married, whether you have children in school, and whether your job is paid or completely based on support. Of course Interserve staff have plenty of experience in this area and will advise you on the best way to raise financial support.

Prayer support is the fuel for our work and Interserve produces many prayer resources to enable our supporters to pray for the needs of our Partners. We have many dedicated prayer groups across the country who pray for the work of Interserve and do our best to ensure that they have accurate and helpful prayer materials.
